Hawaii interesting information...
* Hawaii is called the Aloha state
* Hawaii comprises 132 islands!
* The world's most active volcano is in Hawaii
* Hawaii became a state the year I was born (oh so how old is it? and me?)
* Hawaii is the only state that grows coffee!
* Each island has a different color flower to represent it. Maui is pink.
* Haleakala Crater is the world's largest dormant volcano. It's on Maui (I've been to the top three times)
*Aloha means "hello", "goodbye" and "love"

It's starting!!

My sister and her dog, Kore, are on the plane! They are on their way from Maui, Hawaii to Los Angeles, California.  I leave tomorrow, wow, it's really happening!! ARE you READY?

The Story!!

My sister, Colleen, is moving from Maui, Hawaii after living there for over 25 years.  She is flying from Maui, Hawaii to Los Angeles, California on Wednesday, March 30th.  Her beloved dog, Kore, will also be flying from Maui to California.  She has shipped her car ahead and it is on its way to California NOW (even survived the latest tsunami).  I am meeting she and Kore in Los Angeles on Thursday, March 31st and then the adventure begins!!! Which way will we go? How many miles a day will we travel? What will the weather be? FOLLOW US...ON THE ROAD!!
